Shamanic Helpers Intensive Workshop with Grace Walsh

Please join me in my home for a workshop with one of my teachers, Grace Walsh! Only 6 spots available.

Saturday, September 29th, 10 am to 4 pm. Address is in Salem (accessible by bus), and will be provided upon registration.

Those of us who view the world through shamanic eyes know that everything in nature has a SPIRIT.

This workshop introduces (or re-introduces) you to the many shamanic helpers who are ready to assist us on our Earthly Journey.  This day long program invites us to ponder the deeper meanings of life around us…when we “acknowledge” these shamanic helpers, we can “access their knowledge”.

Created from my own ceremonial practice over the years, included are teachings from:

  • The Winged Ones – our feathered friends

  • The Stone People – rock divination

  • Plant People/Standing Ones – sacred herbs and smudge/tree wisdom

  • Power Animals – our totem helpers

  • Rattles and Drums – the power of vibration

  • Medicine Wheel – the power of direction

  • Creating Sacred Space and Ceremony - Bringing it all together

We close with a group gratitude ceremony that we create together, by integrating this practical knowledge from our newly refreshed spiritual toolbox thereby creating a collective, sacred space. At the end of class, you will receive a certificate of completion.

** Please bring a baseball/grapefruit sized rock, one that can be returned to nature when the class is finished. Do not bring a favorite item or stone that already has meaning to you.  The best way to find your rock is to take a walk outside in nature. While you are walking, imagine there is a rock waiting somewhere just for you. Offer a little gratitude for this rock to show itself to you. When you approach anything of this nature in a good way, it will appear. As you pick it up, hold it in your hands for a few moments, asking if this rock is meant for you. Do not examine it or think too much about if it looks” right, only that it “feels” right.

** Feel free to bring your drum and/or rattle if you have one.

** Bring your lunch, a water bottle and a notebook or journal to write in
